Approximately 45–60 minutes, allowing plenty of time for assessment, explanation and discussion of your treatment options.
We offer two assessment options depending on your individual needs.
Foot & Ankle Pain Assessment – £49 (30 minutes)
Ideal for patients with a new foot or ankle problem who require an expert assessment, diagnosis and treatment plan.
Comprehensive Foot & Ankle Assessment with Footscan® – £150 (60 minutes)
Our most detailed assessment, including advanced Footscan® gait analysis, biomechanical examination and a personalised treatment plan. This option is ideal for persistent pain, sports injuries, recurrent problems and patients considering custom orthotics.
If you’re unsure which appointment is right for you, don’t worry. Our friendly team will be happy to advise and ensure you are booked into the most appropriate assessment for your needs.
Not necessarily. Orthotics are recommended only when clinically appropriate. Many patients improve with education, rehabilitation exercises, footwear advice or shockwave therapy alone. We only recommend treatments we genuinely believe will benefit you.
To help us provide the most accurate assessment possible, please arrive prepared with the following:
Please bring:
- Comfortable shorts or clothing that allows your legs to be examined.
- 2–3 pairs of shoes that you regularly wear, such as:
  - Everyday/work shoes
  - Trainers or running shoes
  - Walking or recreational footwear
  - Any footwear you feel contributes to your symptoms

You will receive two digital forms by email:

Please complete both forms before your appointment. This allows your podiatrist to review your history in advance and make the most of your consultation time.
Medical information
If you have any relevant medical information, please send it to us before your appointment where possible, including:
- MRI, X-ray or ultrasound reports
- Hospital or consultant letters
- Previous podiatry or physiotherapy reports
- Relevant medical history relating to your condition
