Protect your feet. Prevent complications. Stay one step ahead.
Living with diabetes means looking after your feet is more important than ever. Our comprehensive diabetic foot assessment is designed to identify problems early, assess your circulation and nerve health, and help reduce the risk of serious foot complications before they develop.
Unlike a routine foot check, our Gold Star Diabetic Foot Assessment combines advanced diagnostic technology with a detailed clinical examination, giving you a clear understanding of your foot health.

-
Our Gold Standard Diabetic Foot Assessment is one of the most comprehensive diabetic foot reviews we offer. It includes a detailed assessment of your circulation, nerve function, skin, nails, footwear, foot structure and walking pattern, together with advanced Footscan® pressure analysis to identify areas at increased risk of ulceration.
-
Our assessment goes beyond a standard diabetic foot review by combining traditional diabetic screening with advanced diagnostic technology.
In addition to assessing your circulation and sensation, we also use Footscan® pressure analysis to measure how pressure is distributed across your feet while walking. This helps identify high-risk pressure areas before skin breakdown or ulceration occurs and allows us to provide personalised advice to help protect your feet.
-
Many diabetic foot ulcers develop because of prolonged high pressure combined with reduced sensation.
Footscan® allows us to identify areas of excessive pressure that may not be visible during a routine examination. By recognising these areas early, we can recommend footwear, orthotics or other preventative measures to help reduce your future risk.
-
No.
This is a comprehensive assessment appointment and does not include routine podiatry treatment such as nail cutting, corn removal or hard skin reduction.
If treatment is required, we’ll discuss your options and arrange the most appropriate follow-up appointment and appointment costs.

-
Most people living with diabetes should have their feet checked at least once a year, although some people at higher risk may need more frequent assessments.
Following your appointment, your podiatrist will advise how often you should be reviewed based on your individual risk level.
-
