We are changing the way we practice in the light of the current situation. Following recent guidance and advice from Public Health England and our professional organisations, we are able to treat certain conditions.
Please call or email us to book an appointment, you will be triaged over the phone, if you are in the vulnerable or shielded group, or live with someone who is we will discuss your individual circumstances before making an appointment.if you do not meet the requirements that have been set out by our professional body we will be unable to offer you an appointment at this time however you will be added to the waiting list for when routine appointments have resumed. please do not be offended if you do not met the criteria set out will we not be insured to treat you during this pandemic.
We are taking the all relevant hygiene precautions that we can to minimise any risk to our patients. We have modified our practice in light of what we now know about the Covid-19 virus.
DO NOT ATTEND THE PRACTICE WITHOUT AN APPOINTMENT
We are asking patients to arrive on time for appointments please wait in your car if you are early, the waiting room has been cleared to reduce the risk of contamination.
we are staggering appointments to reduce the risk of meeting another patient, where is is unavoidable please follow social distancing rules marked out on the floor
When you enter the building you will be provided with a mask, and hand sanitiser, please do not fiddle or remove the mask until you have left the clinic.
The podiatrist will then take your temperature (please note if your temperature is 37.8 or greater you will not be allowed into the practice, again please do not be offended this is to reduce the chance of spreading and catching covid-19).
The podiatrist will then guide you into the treatment room.
If you are a new patient please complete this form > REGISTRATION FORM and email it back to us.
We have to stop 15 minute appointments at this time as we are only treating emergency / urgent cases.
Due to implementing 15 minutes either side of your appointment to deep clean and increasing costs of PPE we have to increase the cost of treatment by £5
New Patients £47
To request an appointment please call 01536 522622 and if there is no answer please leave a message on the answerphone. Alternatively you can email us on the “Contact Page” of this website.
However, we are asking that if you or a member of your household has symptoms of Covid-19 such as a new persistent cough, difficulty breathing or a fever, that you do not attend the practice. If you are unsure whether it is appropriate for you to attend an appointment please contact the practice first.
