Following advice from the Government and regulatory body (HCPC) our professional body, The College of Podiatry, has advised that we may now start to treat patients who fall into the green category of “mild conditions”. However this does not mean that we are returning to normal. Firstly we must still ensure that we give priority to treating our patients who are classed as Red and Amber as they are at a greater risk of critical limb issues.
Our Green patients should be seen only if self care advice or a telehealth appointment will not be suitable. The welfare of our patients is a priority to us and we are ensuring that we have the appropriate measures in place for your safety and ours.
We are taking the all relevant hygiene precautions that we can to minimise any risk to our patients. We have modified our practice in light of what we now know about the Covid-19 virus please take the time to read the changes we have implemented below.
PLEASE FOLLOW THESE RULES WHEN YOU ATTEND THE CLINIC
DO NOT ATTEND THE CLINIC WITHOUT AN APPOINTMENT
We are asking patients to arrive on time for appointments please wait in your car if you are early, the doors will be closed the waiting room has been cleared to reduce the risk of contamination.
we are staggering appointments to reduce the risk of meeting another patient, where is is unavoidable please follow social distancing rules marked out on the floor
please scan the new NHS covid - 19 QR code on the internal door
When you enter the building you will be provided with a mask, and hand sanitiser, please do not fiddle or remove the mask until you have left the clinic.
The podiatrist will then take your temperature (please note if your temperature is 37.8 or greater you will not be allowed into the practice, again please do not be offended this is to reduce the chance of spreading and catching covid-19).
The podiatrist will then guide you into the treatment room.
If you are a new patient please complete this form > REGISTRATION FORM and email it back to us.
