We would recommend this appointment to people suffering with the following: Foot pain, Heel pain ,Forefoot pain, bunion pain, hip pain, knee pain.
The foot Is a complex structure made up of 26 bones and over 100 muscles tendons and ligaments. You will be assess non weight bearing (on the couch) standing (weight bearing) and your gait will be checked (how you walk).
From the assessment we can identify the cause of the problem and we will tailor make a plan to help alleviate your symptoms. This may include footwear advice, an exercise programme to strengthen or stretch your muscles, and orthotics to put in your shoes. These will help to realign or cushion the abnormalities found and sometimes this may result in referral for further investigation such as Xray, ultrasound or MRI.
